Vaughan is home base for us. Our shop is at 390 Edgeley Blvd. in Concord, a few minutes from Highway 7 and the 400, so most Vaughan jobs are a short drive rather than a trip. That matters when a storefront needs a same-week clean or a property manager wants us back on a fixed day each month.
Tru Vue has been cleaning windows across the GTA since 1993, and a good share of that work has always been right here: the industrial parks around Concord, the retail along Highway 7, and homes in Woodbridge, Maple, Thornhill and Kleinburg.
Ten years ago there was almost nothing tall in Vaughan. The Vaughan Metropolitan Centre around Highway 7 and Jane has since filled with condo and office towers built around the subway station, and they are glass-heavy buildings that need planned high-rise cleaning with roof anchors, rope access or swing stages. New towers also come with a lot of construction residue on the glass for the first year or two, which is a job for post-construction cleaning, not a regular wash.
Concord and the Steeles and Jane corridor are full of warehouses, showrooms and flex units with big front glass and small offices behind it. The front glass takes truck dust and road grime from the 400 and 407. Skylights and clerestory windows up near the roofline are usually skipped for years because nobody has the equipment to reach them. We do, with aerial lifts, and interior skylights and high beams can be combined with high-level dusting on the same visit.
Retail along Highway 7, Rutherford Road and around Vaughan Mills is mostly ground-floor storefront glass, which we do early in the morning before doors open.
Vaughan houses tend to be big and the windows even bigger. Two-storey foyers, walls of glass at the back of the house and transom windows above the front door are common, and those are the ones homeowners cannot safely reach themselves. We handle them from outside with poles and ladders as part of a residential visit. Kleinburg and the newer streets backing onto the Humber valley get heavy leaf fall, so the fall visit usually includes eavestrough cleaning.
Tru Vue Window Cleaning is based at 390 Edgeley Blvd., Unit 30, in Concord, which is part of Vaughan. That puts every part of the city, from Thornhill to Kleinburg, within a short drive.
Yes. High-rise buildings around the VMC are cleaned using rope access, bosun chairs or swing stages, depending on the building and its roof anchors. We assess the building before quoting.
Pricing depends on the size of the property, the number of floors, how the glass is reached and whether you want interior, exterior or both. A free written estimate is provided before any work is booked.
Yes. Skylights and high windows on warehouses and industrial units are reached with aerial lifts, and interior high-level dusting can be done on the same visit.
